Come alone, come with friends, but just come! Seriously, last year’s outing was a blast, so don’t miss out on this year’s. The game starts at 4pm at Bellevue Park, and it’s BYOB.

2nd Quarterly Challenge – Saturday, May 10th!

Come out and test how much you’ve improved since the last challenge. Only 3 classes that day – 8am – 9:15am Advanced, 9:15am – 10:30am Core & 10:30am – 11:45am Intermediate (Come to the class level you are at. Please do not come to a level above or below what you are qualified for – if unsure, ask a coach)

Come join us on Monday, May 26th for our annual WOD called Murph! There will just be one class time that day – 12pm. Then, immediately after, we will get out the food and drink and start barbecuing! Bring your favorite dish to share with all – healthy, of course:)

End of EFL! Challenge Bowling Party!

Only two more weeks until the end of the Eat for Life! Challenge, and all of you are invited to come out and celebrate! Winners will be announced and bowling/drinking will be happening. Meet us on Saturday, March 15th at Shatto Lanes in Koreatown at 7pm. Only $5.95 per game and shoe rental is $3. Hope to see you there!

The 2014 CrossFit Open is Here!

For the next 5 weeks, the CrossFit Open will be taking place, and what that means for CFCOA is that from now until March 29th, every Saturday, we will be doing the next Open WOD. Even if you are not registered for the Open, come out and try your best at these challenging workouts. Open WODs will take place during the 8am, 9am, and 10am classes. Barbell at 11am and Endurance at 12pm will remain unchanged.

Eat for Life Challenge 3.1 Starts February 1st!!

Did you eat too much and exercise too little during the Holidays? Well, now is your chance to get back on track and into your swimsuit ASAP with the next Eat for Life Challenge! This year, it will start on Feb. 1st and last 6 weeks. More details to soon follow, but for now, mark your calendars!

Announcing: 34-Day Burpee Challenge!

Since many of you will be traveling and our CFCOA community will be spread out all over the U.S. (and perhaps the world?) until January, we will be holding a 34-day Burpee Challenge in order to keep us all connected and motivated. Starting Sunday, November 29th and ending Wednesday, January 1st, in addition to whatever workouts you are already doing, you will be challenged to do one more burpee than the day before. On the 29th, you will do 1 and by Jan. 1st, you will do 34!

Let us know where/how you are doing your burpees by posting pictures to the CFCOA Athlete Facebook page. Maybe you do a burpee in the snow, maybe one with a Santa suit on, maybe one in the middle of a family party with Grandma looking at you in awe – the more creative, the better! Use this Challenge to keep in touch with your fellow CFCOAers – let’s see how interesting and fun we can make these pictures – and of course, who follows through with the entire 34-day Challenge!
